Well, I set up my new computer, and aside from Vista (blargh!), it seems to be running no problem. I'd been planning to bring all my old bookmarks back via Xmarks, but I'm kind of liking the clean slate. I also like the wireless keyboard and mouse. I had a wireless mouse years ago, but it was hopeless. Turns out there's been quite a bit of progress since then.
Filled up the daily bicycling quota, too. My sister and I put on some spf 50+ sun cream and headed out to the neighboring town and back. Of course the sun didn't come out once, not to mention the wind was against us both ways. (And it was all uphill, too.) It was all straight roads and we managed to get up to a fairly nice speed, and it actually felt like doing sports.
I'm going to do nothing for the rest of the day. And by nothing, I mean I'm going to install The Sims 2 one last time and play some. (Sims 3 doesn't come out till Thursday here. Boo.) It'll be nice to be able to play without hellish lag.
Computers are clearly not designed by people who have cats. A cat owner would never in a million years place the start button on top of the unit. Eejits.
